Kulttuurikeskus Ninho kutsuu sinut tutustumaan upeaan yhteisöön samalla kun opit tekemään perinteisiä meksikolaisia paperisia kukkia (Cempasúchil) ja papel picadoa, kaksi keskeistä elementtiä Día de Muertos (Kuolleiden päivä) -perinteessä.
Näiden koristeiden avulla olet mukana luomassa yhteisöinstallaatiota, joka on tärkeä osa Ninhon Día de Muertos – Perhepäivää Oodin kirjastossa.
Tapahtuma on avoin kaikenikäisille ja kaikille, jotka haluavat kokoontua yhteen, luoda ja juhlia meksikolaisen kulttuurin rikkautta.

Kulttuurikeskus Ninho invites you to a community gathering, where we’ll mix traditions, arts and crafts, and awesome vibes!
Meet a beautiful community while you learn how to make traditional Mexican paper marigold flowers (Cempasúchil) and papel picado, two essential elements of the Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) tradition.
With these decorations, you’ll contribute to creating a large-scale community installation in the children’s section of Oodi Library! The installation is an important activity of Ninho’s Día de Muertos – Family Day event.
This event is open to all ages and especially welcomes those who believe in the power of community art to bring people together and celebrate cultural richness.
