This Día de los Muertos, Stolp Avenue will come alive with music, color, tradition and community.
Join us outside Altiro Latin Fusion Aurora for a free, family-friendly block party honoring the beautiful Mexican tradition of remembering those we love and celebrating the lives they lived.
The festival will begin with a traditional Mayan ceremony recognizing the meaning and history of Día de los Muertos. The celebration will continue throughout the afternoon with live music, folklórico dancers, local vendors, live body painting and activities for the entire family.
COMMUNITY OFRENDA
Our community ofrenda will serve as the heart of the celebration.
Guests are invited to bring a printed photograph of a loved one who has passed and place it on the ofrenda. Together, we will create a meaningful community display filled with the faces, stories and memories of those who remain forever in our hearts.

FREE ADMISSION
This celebration is free and open to the entire community. All ages are welcome.
DRESS FOR THE CELEBRATION
Guests are encouraged to dress as Catrinas and Catrines or wear colorful calavera-inspired attire. Dressing up is encouraged but not required—everyone is welcome to celebrate with us.
