About this Event
🍇 Bienvenue en Charente ! Tucked away in south-west France, this is the land of cognac, comic books and some of the prettiest villages in the country, and most visitors drive straight past it.
Join Thomas for a fun and immersive workshop (en français !) and set off on a journey through the département, one stop at a time. You'll follow the Charente river through centuries of history, from the Abbaye de Saint-Amant-de-Boixe to the château of La Rochefoucauld. You'll wander the villages of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne and Verteuil-sur-Charente, then head through the vineyards to Cognac. And you'll explore Angoulême, the medieval city on the ramparts that became the world capital of la bande dessinée 💥
And of course, no trip to Charente is complete without its specialities: cognac, pineau, la galette charentaise and the famous cagouilles. Don't know what those are? Come and find out 🐌
