Make dumplings from scratch
Start with a tour around United Noodles Minneapolis and a guide to the high-quality specialty ingredients used in the dumplings. Then learn the full process: kneading fresh dough, rolling wrappers, making juicy pork and cabbage filling, mastering classic folds, and cooking dumplings two ways.
The class emphasizes thoughtfully sourced, high-quality ingredients, including local producers whenever possible. Practice rolling, folding, and shaping your own dumplings with guided instruction and one-on-one help.
After folding, enjoy the boiled and pan-fried dumplings you have made with dipping sauces, side dishes, sweets, and beverages, while exploring the cultural context and traditions behind each step. Leave with a full belly, a recipe card, and a skill you can use again and again.

Meet your instructors
Tiffany and Sean of CHOOCHOO-ca-CHEW will guide the class. Tiffany Alexandria is a Taiwanese chef based in the U.S., exploring her roots through food. Dumplings were the first dish she learned to make at four years old and remain central to how she preserves and shares Taiwanese culture.
