It’s the second annual Green Mountain Smokehouse run!! I’m really excited to finally be hosting at my house again after the weird ups and downs we’ve had with weather this month. DON’T FORGET TO BRING A HEADLAMP.The general plan for this week is to meet at my place, run up on Green Mountain, and then have a potluck on my patio afterwards. Please bring a lawn chair with you, I’ll have a couple propane fire pits going in the backyard just in case it gets chilly, but I don’t have enough space for everyone to sit, so lawn chairs really help!
I’m going to smoke two pork shoulders, so we should have a ton of food. One shoulder will be sweet and one savory so bring sides you would typically bring for a BBQ and maybe some tortillas and taco stuff so we can have the savory pork in taco form! Someone please bring some BBQ sauce as well, I don’t have that much left at my house right now.
I’m looking forward to hosting everyone! If you need to leave something in the fridge before the run I’ll make sure to have some extra space.
