Is drinking or drug use quietly taking over your life? For over 20 years, Recovery Alaska has walked alongside men and women in Anchorage seeking freedom from addiction through a Christ-centered approach. Rooted in the biblical principles behind the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, this program shows that lasting sobriety is possible, one day at a time, with Jesus Christ as your Higher Power.
Men and women meet separately, each group led by someone of the same gender, so you can be honest in a safe and supportive space.
"We don't promise to solve all your life's problems, but we can show you how to live without drinking or using, with the help of Jesus Christ."
✔️ Christ-centered recovery grounded in the 12 steps
✔️ Separate men's and women's groups
✔️ A community that's been there and understands
✔️ Real hope, real freedom, one day at a time
"Let us cast off the works of darkness… Let us walk properly, as in the daytime; not in orgies and drunkenness." – Romans 13:12-13
You don't have to fight this alone. Freedom starts with a single step.
