In the Astrology world, Venus retrograde gets stereotyped as “the time when your ex texts you out of the blue”. But this surface-level read misses the deeper invitation of this precious time period: an opportunity to re-evaluate what we desire, how we relate, what we value, and the patterns we recreate over and over in our closest relationships.

Retrogrades impact us whether we like it or not; what we get to choose is how much we want to consciously participate. What you’ll find when you do choose to participate is that there is rich potential to understand and transform how you relate to others.

Dreaming a New Love Story is a guided experience, spanning Venus’s full retrograde story, from the first whispers of the pre-shadow on August 31 through the closing of the post-shadow on December 15. If these terms sound like gibberish, worry not! You will learn everything you need to know along the way in beginner-friendly language!

You’ll begin with a recorded teaching to get you up to speed on Venus and what her retrograde means, plus a workbook mapping the important dates of the cycle. As the weeks unfold, you’ll track what is actually happening in your relationships, desires, values, finances, self-worth and capacity to give and receive love.

By the end, the goal is not simply to know more stuff. It is to be able to look back and identify the story that unfolded: what Venus brought to the surface to be reconsidered, and what you want to carry forward differently.

· How themes repeat across the different stages of the retrograde process

· How to reflect on the general themes through the lens of your own lived experience rather than relying on generic horoscope descriptions

· Final in-person integration gathering on Thursday November 12

· Facilitated reflection, journalling and storytelling about your retrograde story

· A guided creative integration exercise led by my wonderfully talented collaborator, Shannon Randle

Everything in Tier 1, plus:

· Midpoint online integration circle on Tuesday October 20 (recorded for participants unable to attend live)

· Live teaching on how to look up your natal Venus and identify what areas of life will be touched by the retrograde

· Support connecting the collective astrology to what is emerging in your own life.

· Facilitated group storytelling and reflection while the story is still unfolding.

· Access to a private WhatsApp group for Tier 2 and Tier 3 participants throughout the experience (remaining open until the final completion of the post-retrograde shadow on December 15)

· A 30-minute private Zoom consultation with Astrological Counsellor, Jess Kivari.

· Individualized exploration of how the Venus retrograde is interacting with your natal chart.

· A chance to bring the patterns and questions emerging in your own retrograde story into a focused one-to-one conversation.
