About this Event
Halloween week is full of parties, get-togethers, and conversations with people you barely know. If the small talk is the part you dread, come warm up with us first.
Civil Tongues Toastmasters is hosting a Halloween costume party on Monday, October 26th at 11:30 AM PT, and the heart of it is Table Topics, our impromptu speaking game. You draw a fun question, you get a minute or two to answer. All in a safe, supportive environment. I promise, it is the friendliest practice there is for thinking on your feet, and it makes the rest of this week's parties and gatherings feel a little less awkward.
Join us in person at Holgate Library in SE Portland in the first floor in room 1B, or on Zoom from anywhere.
Civil Tongues Toastmasters has been around since 2000, and our members bring more than a century of speaking experience between them. Come find your voice with us, then go enjoy your Halloween week.
