About this Event
This event is only open to unpaid carers living in or caring for someone in Edinburgh and Midlothian.
About the event: In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to identify common sources of draughts around the home and make your own simple draught excluders using affordable and reusable materials. You’ll pick up useful tips for reducing heat loss, improving comfort and potentially helping to lower energy bills.
Edinburgh Tool Libary operates just like a normal library, but instead of borrowing books, members borrow tools.
From drills and lawnmowers to sewing machines and specialised woodworking machinery, they provide affordable access to over 3,000 tools. But it's more than just a sharing service; it's a community-powered movement building a more sustainable, resourceful, and connected Edinburgh.
