The Downtown Residents’ Association is exploring casual Monday night recreation gatherings this summer in the green space between the viaducts near the river. Everyone is welcome to join!Just looking to create a relaxed place for people to get outside and connect downtown through things like:
Wiffle ball
Football catch
Kickball
Soccer
Picnic Space / Hanging Out
Downtown Sioux Falls has plenty of restaurants, events, and gathering spaces — but very few places for casual recreation or pickup-style activities within the neighborhood boundary itself. We’d love to help bring some life and energy to underused green spaces while creating more opportunities for neighbors to meet and enjoy summer evenings together.
Nothing formal - no registration or signups - just show up as you can and hop into whatever we are playing!
