About this Event
Practice your photography in a fun group setting! We will walk around Calgary's Downtown to practice photography as a group. It's a great opportunity to try out street, architecture, portrait, abstract, and other types of photography.
We are meeting on Stephen Avenue, in front of Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. We'll explore the streets with our cameras for 1.5-2 hours and head to Cafe Gravity at the end for a complimentary refreshment.
Here are the locations we will visit during the walk:
- Calgary TELUS Convention Centre - Stephen Avenue
- The Bow
- Chinatown
- River Walk
- Eau Claire Plaza
The Downtown Photo Walks are hosted monthly in partnership with the Calgary Downtown Association (@downtowncalgary).
All levels are welcome and mobile phone cameras are perfectly fine if you don't own a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
Facilitated by Dennis Lee (@d3nree)
