Join this in-person, beginner-friendly workshop for a hands-on introduction to silkscreen printing on clay!
What to Expect
We’ll explore how to prepare silkscreen papers from scratch and use them to transfer designs onto clay. I’ll walk you through the process step by step, showing you how the technique works and what you can create with it.
You’ll get to experiment with both ready-made designs and your own artwork, and make your own uniquely designed ceramic tiles along the way. No previous experience is needed.
Although this workshop focuses on printing on clay, silkscreen printing is a versatile technique that can be used on many different materials, including wood, textiles, and paper. Learning the basics can open up new possibilities for your own creative practice, whether you’re a ceramic artist, illustrator, printmaker, textile artist, or simply someone who loves experimenting with different materials and techniques. Come explore the process, try something new, and see where it might take your work!
