About this Event
Donegal: Single & Ready to Mingle
Ages 25–55
Sunday 15th November 2026 · Glenveagh National Park
A bit of fresh air, a bit of craic and someone new to chat to.
Join Club Soda for our legendary Single & Ready to Mingle Walk in Donegal.
We’re taking dating away from the screens and out into real life, with a lakeside walk, plenty of conversation and coffee at the castle tea rooms afterwards.
Come on your own or bring a single friend.
We’ll organise the introductions and change walking partners along the way, so you’ll have the chance to meet different people without the awkwardness of making the first move.
The plan
- 10:30am: Meet at the Glenveagh National Park Visitor Centre car park for registration and a mingle.
- 11am: Set off along the Lakeside Walk towards Glenveagh Castle, with organised speed-dating rotations along the way. It’s about the chats, not racing up the path.
- Afterwards: Grab a coffee ( included) at the tea rooms and keep the conversation going.
- Return: Walk back with us, or take the park’s shuttle if operating. The current adult single fare is €3, paid separately.
Who’s it for?
Singles aged 25–55, with the group split into under-40 and over-40 groups for the organised rotations. There’ll be time to mingle before, during and after the walk too.
Your ticket includes
- Our hosted Single & Ready to Mingle walk
- Organised introductions and speed-dating rotations
- Club Soda dating cards to help you pass on your details and ask for that next date
- Access to a private group for seven days after the event, so you can keep chatting and organise more dates
- Coffee/Hot Drink
Food and any shuttle fare on return not inlcluded
Over the past four years, our events have led to weddings, engagements, house purchases, babies, travel buddies and plenty of dates. Our goal is simple: help people connect face-to-face and see where it goes. No pressure, just an open mind and a bit of craic.
About the walk
The Lakeside Walk is approximately 3.5km each way, on a mostly flat gravel path officially graded moderate. Allow around an hour each way at our social pace. If you walk both ways, that’s roughly 7km in total. Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip, warm layers and a waterproof jacket.
Meet at the Visitor Centre car park, not at the castle. Please arrive at 10:30am so we can get everyone registered before we leave at 11am.
