DOLLS & GUYS! What happens when musical theatre performers get to sing the songs they were never meant to sing?
Welcome to DOLLS & GUYS, a night of musical theatre miscasting, gender-swapped showstoppers and roles our performers would never normally get to play!
Join John Milligan at the piano for a fabulous evening at Ginger's, featuring a brilliant lineup of Sydney's musical theatre talent taking on songs and characters that break all the usual casting rules.
Think leading ladies tackling the big male Broadway anthems, leading men embracing their inner divas, and performers stepping into roles they'd never be cast in, but have always dreamed of playing.
From hilarious character numbers to powerhouse ballads, iconic Broadway classics and contemporary musical theatre favourites, expect some wonderfully unexpected interpretations of songs you know and love.
DOLLS & GUYS is part of BGPB Presents, Big Gay Piano Bar's series of curated community showcases celebrating Sydney's incredible musical theatre talent.
With a fantastic lineup of singers, plenty of laughs, some spectacular vocals and a few spontaneous Big Gay Piano Bar request moments along the way, it's going to be a brilliantly entertaining night!
Whether you're a musical theatre obsessive, coming along to support a friend or simply looking for a fun night out with great live entertainment, grab a drink, settle in and enjoy the show!
