Grammy Award-winning South London saxophonist, producer and composer Venna arrives on Gadigal land this November.
A leading voice in the new wave of UK jazz, soul and hip-hop, Venna has quietly become one of the most influential musicians of his generation. His unmistakable horn work can be heard on Burna Boy's Grammy Award-winning album Twice As Tall, while his creative touch extends across collaborations with Wizkid, Knucks and longtime collaborator Yussef Dayes.
Following the release of his acclaimed debut album MALIK, Venna continues to push the boundaries of contemporary jazz. Featuring Jorja Smith, Leon Thomas, Smino, MIKE and Cari, the record seamlessly blends jazz, soul and hip-hop into something deeply personal and unmistakably modern.
