Let’s talk! This is a Forum to discuss Hood County issues that matter to you, and my vision moving forward as your County Judge. At this Forum, we will discuss the following:
• Hospital Tax: Why and what this tax covers. How we got to this point. Who this covers. How do they qualify?
• Roadway Proposal: A representative from ITS (our subcontractor) will be present to update us on the number of projects we are attempting to accomplish…the process of achieving this process, the estimated timeframe, and the cost associated with each.
• Development Commission Update: County Clerk Christine Leftwich will provide us with an update on the regulations and where we stand with implementing these new regulations.
• The Election: Hood County GOP Chair, Greg Harrell, will update us regarding the midterm election. Where do we go from here?
• Our campaign centered on transparency to you, the citizens, so my standard will be to listen, serve, and be transparent with the facts.
