About this Event
The Unseen Part
A Creative Art Workshop for Emotional Release
Do you ever feel that, beneath all your roles and responsibilities, there is a quieter part of you waiting to be seen?
Many of us become the capable one, the caring one, the strong one, the responsible one, the good daughter, the good mother, the good partner, or the one who holds everything together.
Over time, we may learn to hide our real feelings, silence our needs, and shape ourselves around what others expect from us.
This 2-hour creative workshop invites you to gently explore the unseen emotional part of yourself through imagined portrait-making, reflective writing, body awareness and guided releasing.
You do not need any drawing experience. This is not about creating a realistic self-portrait or producing a beautiful piece of art. Instead, you will be invited to draw the part of you that wants to be seen today.
It may appear as a child, an animal, an angel, a colour, a light, a symbolic figure, or an abstract form.
Using oil pastels, imagination and simple reflective prompts, you will begin to notice what this hidden part feels, what it needs, what qualities it carries, and what it may be ready to release.
This is a creative, facilitator-led experience, not clinical therapy.
