A Practical Four-Week Meditation Course
for Everyday Life
About this Event

Tuesdays Oct 20 - Nov 10 | 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

Every day we face challenges in life - from small things like stubbing a toe or getting stuck in traffic, to larger difficulties such as conflict, disappointment, loss, or relationship challenges.

While we cannot always control what happens to us, we can learn to control how we respond and our inner experience of these situations.

In these classes, we will explore practical meditations and ways of thinking that help us remain peaceful and positive when we encounter difficulties in life.

By responding to difficulties with wisdom and patience, we can transform challenges into opportunities for growth and inner development.

Each session includes two guided meditations and a practical talk on the weekly topic.

Every class stands on its own, so you can join at any time and book for individual sessions.

Meditations are practised seated on chairs.

Whether you are new to meditation or have some experience, you are warmly invited to join us.

IMPORTANT: Due to city by-laws, advance book is required.

Teacher Kelsang Sonam has been practising Kadampa Buddhism for 17 years. Based upon his experience he presents Buddhist teachings and approaches to meditation practice in an easy to understand and accessible way, making his classes suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators alike.
