for Everyday Life
About this Event
In the busyness of modern life, meditation offers a simple way to rediscover inner calm, clarity, and a more joyful way of living.
In these classes, we will explore five topics that can help us meditate more effectively:
• How to inspire ourselves to meditate
• What are the objects of meditation
• What are mindfulness and concentration
• How meditation develops wisdom
• How to integrate meditation into daily life
Each session includes two guided meditations and a practical talk on the weekly topic.
Meditations are practised seated on chairs.
Whether you are new to meditation or have some experience, you are warmly invited to join us.
Each class stands on its own, so you can join at any time and book individual sessions.
No previous experience of meditation is required.
Everybody welcome!
The classes are held in the peaceful, friendly, and comfortable surroundings of the Carrot Common - Room 212 Meeting Space.
Doors open at 6:30. Please feel free to drop in early for a cup of tea and cookies and a chance to chat before the class.
