Curious about Pottery? Come explore the newest pottery studio in Chelsea, NY!
With live demonstrations, studio tours, and fun, hands-on activities, you can test out handbuilding, wheel-throwing techniques, and get a firsthand look at the creative magic happening at Greenwich House Pottery Chelsea. Our high school scholars from Success Academy will show us what they are learning while helping to work alongside you as you try out new skills.
This open house is free of charge to attend, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged to guarantee your space is confirmed. Open to ages 8 and up! Elevator accessible building.

Collaborative Community Vessels & Children's Activity Station
Join us in shaping something special! At our Collaborative Community Vessels station, guests of all ages can contribute to a shared ceramic artwork, adding their own touches to a growing piece that reflects our creative community.
For younger artists, our Children’s Activity Station offers hands-on clay projects designed to spark imagination and introduce kids to the joy of working with clay. No experience needed—just bring your creativity!
These drop-in activities are free and open to all throughout the event.
Quick Mini Wheel-Throwing Lessons
Try your hand at the pottery wheel! Our mini wheel-throwing lessons offer a fun, hands-on introduction to shaping clay on the wheel. Demonstrations by experienced instructors, followed by a quick try pulling up the walls of a cup! Perfect for beginners eager to experience the magic of throwing. Ages 8 and up.
