About this Event

Are you new to computers or looking to build foundational digital skills? This hands-on course introduces participants to basic computer operation, internet navigation, email communication, and digital safety.

Through guided instruction and practical exercises, you'll gain the confidence to use technology for everyday tasks such as communicating online, searching for information, and accessing important services.

  • Computer and device navigation
  • Keyboard and mouse skills
  • Internet browsing and searching
  • Email setup and communication
  • Online safety and security basics

Completion Requirements

Participants must:

  • Complete 8 instructional hours (two 4 hours evening classes on Tues/Thursday)
  • Participate in hands-on activities
  • Demonstrate basic computer, email, and internet skills
  • Complete a practical skills assessment

Who Should Attend

Adults with little or no prior technology experience.

8 Hours
