In Hand Classes and – Starts 9.30

Class 1 Youngstock – 1, 2, 3 years old
Class 2 Best Condition – may split between horses and ponies if sufficient entries
Class 3 Best Cob/Heavy Type – can be shown natural, plaited or hogged
Class 4 Bonny Pony
Class 5 Best Handler– may split between seniors and juniors if sufficient entries
Class 6 Partbred – may be shown natural, plaited or hogged
Class 7 Condition Regardless of Flaws – Judged purely on confirmation and going regardless of any scars or blemishes
Class 8 Veteran – 15 years and over
Class 9 Shetland or Miniature Horse– full or miniature
Class 10 Mountain and Moorland – may split between large and small breeds
Class 11 Best Gelding – may be split between horses and ponies if sufficient entries
Class 12 Best Mare – may be split between horses and ponies if sufficient entries
Class 13 Best coloured – piebald, skewbald, roan, dun, cremello, palomino, spotted
Class 14 Novice – combination not to have won 3 1st places in previous season

In Hand Championship for all 1sts and 2nds
There will be a 30 minute break for the judge prior to the ridden classes commencing. Ridden classes will not commence before 12pm

Ridden Classes – All ridden will be in the full 65m x 35m indoor arena



Class 16 Promising Newcomer – open to horses and ponies that are 4, 5 and 6 years old
Class 17 First Ridden inc Lead Rein – judged separate - lead rein must be attached to the nose band, child 12 years and under, to be ridden in a snaffle.
Class 18 Absolute Beginners – open to horse/pony, rider any age, inc lead rein. WALK and TROT only
.Class 19 Mountain and Moorland – may be split between large and small
Class 20 Ridden Veteran – horse/pony 15 years and over
Class 21 Novice Ridden – open to horses/ponies. Combination not to have won 1st in previous season. No group canter
Class 22 Ridden Coloured – piebald, skewbald, roan, dun, cremello, palomino, spotted
Class 23 Ridden Cob/Heavy Type
Class 24 Best Ridden Part Bred
Class 25 Open Ridden Hunter
Class 26 Riding Horse, hack or ROR
Class 27 Ridden Pony
Class 28 Ridden Mare
Class 29 Ridden Gelding
Class 30 Ideal Partners – judged on manners, performance and compatability
