A musical connection that spans nearly four decades. In the inaugural years of the Orchestre National de Jazz in France, drummer Aaron Scott worked with composer and saxophonist François Jeanneau, the orchestra’s founding director.
Today, that musical history continues through a new collaboration. Aaron brings Jeanneau’s compositions to New York, leading a quartet with Jérôme Sabbagh, François Moutin and Dan Tepfer in an evening devoted to Jeanneau’s music.
The program opens with a special video message from François Jeanneau, followed by live jazz and a three-course French dinner in the intimate setting of The Bonnefont in Fort Tryon Park.
