About this Event
Date: on November 1, 2026 | Día de los Muertos is celebrated in Mexico.
What: Rooted in the beautiful traditions of Día de los Muertos, Día de el Espíritu del Río is a tribute to the lives we've lost and the love that continues to flow after they are gone. On this day, in Mexico we honor and welcome back the spirits of deceased loved ones for one night.
Celebrate: Expect to see multiple DJs dropping sick beats, encouraging you to dance with the dead.
Cost: Suggested donation is $20
Altar: We will create an altar, we encourage you to bring pictures of people you have lost, or tokens that remind you of them. Feel free to add decor such as lights, flowers, candles, anything fun or whimsical. Let us create an altar together, decorate it, and welcome the spirits to join us. We also plan to have a ceremony and blessing.
This event will raise funds in support of a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing addiction and overdose, helping turn grief into hope and remembrance into action.
Like a river, love never stops flowing. Rene's spirit lives on through the people he touched & the positive change we hope to create in his name. This day is not just for Rene, but for all loved ones that have passed on.
