Come out to celebrate autumn with vintage fashion and bicycles! (NOTE: We skipped the Gatsby ride again this year, so ya didn't miss anything.)Meet at the NE Corner of W Warren & Trumbull in Detroit, corner of the Wayne State Athletic Fields. (Address here is just to get a physical location to show up on the map.) Street parking is available on the west side of Trumbull north of the intersection and on the neighborhood streets to the west; it's very easy to find.
Meet at 11:30 AM, roll out by 12 noon — heading to the St. Florian Polish Soup Festival in Hamtramck! 🥣 Afterwards, an easy cruise seeking fall colors by Bobby (not too long) over a few hours through Detroit, with a stop for fall photos/refreshment. BYO snacks/bev if you like.
**We ask that you AT LEAST (((do not dress in modern clothing))) – don a tweed or wool sportcoat / button-down shirt / tie, a dress and heels or boots, maybe a stylish hat, your tall socks – get a little fancy / retro. Hit the thrift store! Get funky! Google can help with ideas. Also, riding a vintage bike is A BIG PLUS but not mandatory!** We won't turn you away, but we really want to keep on-theme vintage in some way. Save the spandex and gym clothes for a different ride.
