About this Event
Multiple myeloma is a blood cancer that disproportionately affects Black people, yet gaps remain in awareness, diagnosis, treatment, and participation in clinical research.
Join BLKHLTH for an afternoon of brunch and community conversations centered on multiple myeloma, advances in cancer care and research, and what it will take to make those advances more accessible to Black communities.
Through a panel discussion and opportunities to connect with others, we’ll explore the possibilities ahead and share experiences, ask questions, and make known the needs of our loved ones and communities.
No medical background is needed. Whether you have been personally affected by cancer, work in healthcare, or simply want to learn more, you are welcome.
