Designer Brunch and Learn: Window Treatments, A Deeper Dive with Q&A
Window treatments are one of the easiest places for a design project to go wrong. This two-hour class helps designers find out what they don't know about draperies and roman shades, with a short look at hard treatments.
Over seven practical steps, you'll learn how to:
- define client goals
- choose the right style, fabric and hardware
- measure accurately
- specify fabrication
- recognize a quality installation
You'll also learn why fabrics grow, billow and wrinkle, and when to tell a client no.
We'll finish with open Q&A, so bring your current project questions.
Led by Jeanne Henzel, founder and principal creative of Joona Fabriculture, Artisan Curtains & Upholstery. Joona handles measuring, fabrication, installation and service for custom luxury window treatments.
Who should attend: Interior designers, decorators and design students who specify or sell custom window treatments.
