San Diego, this one's for you. Desi Comedy Fest, the biggest South Asian comedy festival in America, brings its SoCal Tour to the Gaslamp for one night only.
Our mission is simple: showcase the funniest comedians of South Asian heritage from around the globe and create a live comedy experience unlike anything else. Six to eight comedians share one stage, back to back, for two hours of nonstop laughs.
The lineup celebrates the full diversity of the diaspora: Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Nepali and beyond. From Bollywood to brown parents to growing up between two cultures, this is comedy that hits different when the whole room gets the joke.
And everybody's invited, no translation needed. Featured on NBC, CBS, Just For Laughs and SF Sketchfest, the Fest has sold out rooms across America for over a decade, with comedians who have been part of Netflix Is A Joke, launched specials on Amazon and HBO, and appeared on late night from Letterman to Conan.
