Join us for the September 2026 meeting of the Derry-Free Horror Book Club, The Briar Patch's book club dedicated to spine-tingling reads. Vol. 20 of the Derry-Free Horror Book Club will discuss THE UNKNOWN by Riley Sager. What's it about? In 1926, five women disappeared from a remote island in Vermont. Now, one hundred years later, it’s happening again.Join us on Wednesday, September 23 at 7:30pm at BookSpace (48 Columbia St., Bangor) to talk about the novel, its characters, scares and more. There will also be light refreshments!

For more than 35 years, The Briar Patch has inspired and delighted generations of readers of all ages in Bangor, Maine.
