Join Colorado Springs Thematic Secular Co-Op and Rocky Mountain Enrichment for a field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science! We will meet outside the field trip entrance to the museum at 8:45 am and check in with Stephanie Goetsch.
At or around 9:15, the museum will provide us with wrist bands for all attendees and then we will be shown to a space where we can store our packed lunches and outer wear.
You may bring a picnic lunch for your family to enjoy in the provided dining area for field trips or purchase lunch at the museum restaurant.
After everyone has their wrist bands on, families will then explore the museum on their own pace and timeline. There is no guided tour offered at this time and you do not have to stay with your teachers.
At this time, we do not have information regarding adding the IMAX Movie, Planetarium, or temporary exhibits to the trip, but that is in the works.
More details will be provided when we are closer to the event!
The cost should not exceed $10 per person, adults and children included. This cost allows additional family member to be included in the chaperone costs.
Rocky Mountain Enrichment students will pay via their enrichment program & all others will pay via Stephanie Goetsch.
Stephanie accepts Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, and Facebook Pay as well as good old cash. I am located in Colorado Springs if you would like meet up to make payment.
Payment is due January 22, 2027.
This is a homeschool group field trip, but feel free to invite your family and friends who may be available that Thursday.
This is a field trip that I plan annually and you can be confident that your family will have a blast!
