We are kicking off our 2026 Pop-Ups at the Portal with the amazing, the legendary, Denise King!International vocalist/recording artist Denise King returns to the Trolley Portal with her timeless voice and magnetic stage presence to Pop Ups at The Portal 40th and Baltimore Ave. Ms. King breathes life into classic and contemporary jazz, standards, blues and R&B songs. From sultry ballads to swinging tunes, this is a show for all ages.
Denise King invites the audience into her musical world, blending her personal touch with timeless stories, dance, appreciation of and for music. Her warmth and charisma make every performance feel personal and unforgettable. This will be a joyful journey celebrating new, originals and classic music. She will be accompanied by Michael Frank on keyboard; Lee Smith bass and Khary Shaheed drums
