Join us on Tuesdays (D/B) or Wednesdays (J/C) throughout September and October to earn your democracy badge!The Council will lead badgework and activities, including a tour of city hall and a meeting with Mayor Mindy O'Neall, a tour of the courthouse and a meeting with Alaska Supreme Court Justice Aimee Oravec, and a Girl-led trivia night.
Thanks to the league of women voters, we will also have the opportunity to help locally as we prepare for our elections.
We’ll finish with an election night Pizza party at the Council on November 3
