Dads and Demons is Deepak’s 45-minute trial special about the complicated ties that shape us and the family we find along the way. Through stories about his difficult relationship with his dad, his childhood, becoming a dad himself, and life as a dog dad, Deepak brings warmth and humour to the awkward, tender and unexpected moments in between. It’s personal comedy with room for recognition, whether you’re working through family history, building a family of your own, or sharing your home with a four-legged companion.
This special is for anyone who has had a difficult relationship with their dad, is figuring out fatherhood, or knows what it’s like to have a dog running the household. Join Deepak as he keeps exploring comedy in different shapes and forms in this work-in-progress special.
