We are so excited to have teamed up with Glasgow Life and Glasgow Deaf Athletic Football Club to announce our first ever Deaf Football Festival for Children!We're inviting young deaf people aged 6-12 and their families to Toryglen Regional Football Centre on Sat 11 October from 1-3pm for an afternoon of football training and fun.
There will be BSL interpreters provided and coaches experienced in working with deaf young people, in an event that will mark the launch of regular football training sessions for deaf children in Scotland thanks to Glasgow Life. ?⚽️
We're thrilled that we'll be joined by Scottish ParaFootball ambassador and international award-winning comedian Ray Bradshaw - son of deaf parents and fluent in BSL. What's more, young people will have the chance to meet some of the National Scotland Deaf Team players!
