Deadsgiving brings an evening of Grateful Dead vibes, psychedelic jams, drinks, dancing and more!
--
Atypical Daydream is a Minnesota band built on one idea: play the music of the Grateful Dead without boundaries.
The five members have been part of the Minnesota music scene for decades, and each has played in multiple bands along the way. That shared experience is the foundation of the group. A Dead tune is a starting point for the band, and every song is a chance to stretch out, wander off the map, and find the way back home. Songs end up a little bit their own, and no two nights sound quite the same.
--
With three singers trading leads and blending harmonies, the band has the vocal depth that Dead songs call for. Each member brings his own talent to the mix, and together they create a sound that is warm, inviting, and easy to get lost in. Whether you’ve followed the Dead for fifty years or are hearing these songs for the first time, come ready to dance, drift, and let the music take you somewhere new.
