Glastonbury, a historic town in Somerset, England, is famous for its myths, legends, and the world-renowned Glastonbury Festival. Explore its abbey, scenic spots, and vibrant cultural scene for a unique experience. Glastonbury is steeped in myth and mystery, linked to King Arthur — legends say Glastonbury Abbey is his final resting place, an Ancient pilgrimage destination

Cheddar Gorge is a dramatic natural landmark in Somerset, famous for its towering limestone cliffs, prehistoric caves, scenic walks, and as the birthplace of Cheddar cheese. It’s one of the UK’s most impressive outdoor sights and works brilliantly as a coach stop or half-day visit. England’s largest gorge (up to 137 metres deep)


Formed during the last Ice Age, Part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Mix of wild scenery + accessible attractions. You get big views without needing to hike far, which makes it perfect for groups.

8AM prompt | Coach departs London

Find us at our usual meeting spot

Please meet by the coach bays on Tothill St SW1H 9NQ which is only 2 minutes walk from St James Park tube station. Close to Costa Coffee and Pret Manger

Travel time approx 3 hours


Glastonbury

11 am - 1.45pm Explore Glastonbury (2 hrs and 45 minutes)


What to See

Glastonbury Tor, 20–30 min walk up, with incredible views over Somerset Levels, allow ~45 mins total

Glastonbury Abbey Legendary burial site of King Arthur, a peaceful ruins & gardens, Optional paid entry


Glastonbury High Street

With independent shops, crystals, spiritual stores, Cafés & lunch with many vegetarian & vegan-friendly cafés
