About this Event

Fancy a day out of London exploring Surrey’s finest countryside?

Join us for a 15km hike that takes in rolling farmland, peaceful woodlands, and the summit of Leith Hill — the tallest peak in Surrey. From the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views stretching across the South East before we descend and wind our way through scenic woods and along country paths.

Leith Hill's tower was built in 1765 by Richard Hull from Leith Hill Place as 'a place for people to enjoy the glory of the English countryside'. While the tower is closed until summer, there is a coffee shop at the bottom, and on a clear day you can see the English Channel from the hill itself.

This route offers a proper mix of wide country paths, forest trails, and a few rougher sections to keep things interesting. Expect a rewarding challenge, plenty of variety, and all the fresh air you could ask for.
