DAY OF THE DEAD Celebration: Workshop. Potluck. Dance Party.

Welcome to a special event - on the eve of 'Totensonntag' - where we come together to honour those we have lost with shared Food, Dance, and Community. Embracing death with a celebration of life.
There will be a 'Grief & Gratitude' Workshop during the day, held by Naftali. In the evening, we will feast together with a community potluck dinner, followed by a Dance (with DJ Leah Luna) and perhaps some surprise guest musicians.
-- You can join for both the day workshop and the evening dinner/dance or just one of them.

This event is donation based.
Suggested Donation:
All day: 40,- (/ 25,- reduced)
Half day: 25,- (/ 15,- reduced)

+ Photos of your lost loved ones - to place on the altar
+ Objects that represent their loss - to place on the altar
+ Favourite Foods to share in the potluck
+ Comfortable clothes to move in

+ A small STONE or PEBBLE to give away in the ceremony
(it should fit in your hand, and you wont get it back)
+ Paper and Pen to journal in
In this workshop we will come together as a community, thru exercises, thru movement, thru music and ceremony -- we will open a sacred space to honour the sorrows that we carry, both personally and collectively, as deepen our gratitude for life.
** This workshop is relevant for ALL kinds of Grief and Sorrow - not only the grief that comes with death. There are many pains and shames and losses that we carry, from our personal lives and from the collective - that require unconditional acceptance, feeling and expression.
No prior experience necessary
Can be done in English or German
