David Kalla’s Celebration of Life & Rock Star Birthday BashSunday, November 15, 2026
6pm to 10pm
Spring Street Tavern – Northeast Minneapolis
Please join us as we celebrate the life of our father, David Kalla, on his birthday!
Our father was an incredible man who loved his family deeply and was always there for the people he cared about. He was also an extremely talented lead guitarist who spent his entire life playing music, including 45 years performing in multiple bands alongside my mother.
We’re not just celebrating his life, we’re throwing him a rock star’s birthday party!
We’ve reserved the entire basement of Spring Street Tavern, complete with a stage and an open mic. All musicians are welcome to bring their instruments and play in his honor!
We’ll have some food available, and additional food and drinks can be purchased at your own expense.
We invite all family, friends, former bandmates, fellow musicians, and anyone who enjoyed my father’s music to join us.
Let’s come together, share memories, play some music, and give David Kalla the rock star celebration he deserves!
Please share and help us spread the word.
