About this Event
My name is Maha, and I am a local neighbour.
I am architect with a keen interest in working with local communities to design and improve public spaces. I have come across several funding opportunities that can be used to improve Davenant road park - particularly the area fronting Holloway Road.
There’s so much potential to transform this space into a valuable community asset. This could include improving biodiversity through a community garden, adding simple play features like colourful stepping stones, or creating a system for local residents to host activities, perhaps by building storage space for shared equipment.
Before I pursue this further, I’d love to hear what neighbours think of the space and what sort of things they would like to see happen there.
