About this Event
New York City has done a great job of making its data publicly accessible. But just because that data is available, it doesn't mean it's useful to a range of consumers. Support tools which help identify user priorities and provide pathways to decision-making can help bridge the gap between the information made available and putting it to work. These tools are frequently online websites that make use of publicly accessible data to help residents and stakeholders make decisions about important issues. In this event we'll see a demonstration of two of these tools - WXY's ADU for You and the J Max Bond Center's Equitable Development Index - and discuss the potential and limitations of these types of projects.
