About Darryl
Darryl Charles was an engineer before turning to the world of comedy. Since then, he’s been incredibly active on the scene, in the worlds of stand-up, improv, sketch, commercial and film acting and even some children’s books. Darryl’s quick wit and smart, observant style of comedy is made even more remarkable through his use of improv to craft his jokes and play with audiences. Darryl continues to headline comedy clubs and comedy festivals all across the US and is the co-host of the Knockout Nerds podcast.
His 1st comedy album, ‘Black Gentrifier’, was released in January 2020, debuted at #3 on the iTunes Comedy Chart, had a write up in the Notices of the American Mathematical Society, and is still in rotation on many SiriusXM channels.
