About this Event
Darren Gaffney Live in New York City at The Tailor Public House.
Rising star of Irish comedy, Gaffney , brings his sell out standup comedy show to New York City.
With a storytelling style that is as sharp as it is chaotic, Darren Gaffney is quickly proving that the quietest parts of the countryside produce the loudest laughs.
Born in rural Ireland, in the often-forgotten Irish County of Cavan – 20 minutes from the border with Northern Ireland. Gaffney grew up on Irish farms. The hardcore Irish ways of GAA, religion and drinking were instilled in him from an early age.
A life of mad events and crazy Irish characters. Listen to him describe, rant, shout and laugh at his life as a 28 year-old “redneck culchie” from Ireland’s quiet yet mental countryside.
Gaffney has perfomed at Electric Picnic's Comedy Arena, The Sugar Club and Whelan's in Dublin, and the Paddy Power Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe, and his Tik Tok sketches have clocked up to 2.2m likes.
