About this Event
Looking for a different way to spend the Solstice day? ☀️ Does it sound fun to cool off from the sun for a few hours in the darkroom? 🤍✨🖤
Join photographic artist Yulia Yoldina for a creative, hands-on introduction to analogue darkroom printing at her professionally equipped studio. This workshop is designed for curious creatives who would like to experience the magic of printing photographs in a traditional darkroom.
The session includes guided, hands-on darkroom work and the chance to experiment with plant-based developers made from coffee or rosemary. You’ll explore the basics of the analogue process, and learn step by step how to print from a developed film negatives using an enlarger, and create your own black-and-white prints to take home. And to finish off, you will make a fun photogram postcard!
All materials are provided, no previous darkroom experience is required.
The workshop is limited to a maximum of 5 people to make sure we have a small group to allow everyone’s curiosity to be explored!
Email Yulia on [email protected] or DM @yuliayoldina if you have questions.
