Places are very limited and reserved for Amwell Society members – max. 2 tickets per booking.
We'll meet outside St Mark's Church on Myddleton square for day-trip by coach to visit the source of the New River at Chadwell near Ware. A guided walk from Ware to Great Amwell, beside the New River, will end at the George IV pub for lunch. Lunch will be an extra cost.
The day will include an on-coach quiz and a talk by Sally Hull, ‘How a baronet banker brought fresh water to London.'
