With Deltaphonic
Daring Greatly makes its way to New Orleans, Louisiana for a Wednesday night at Gasa Gasa, joined by New Orleans’ own Deltaphonic.
The show brings together two independent bands with different corners of Southern-rooted rock represented on the same bill. Daring Greatly will bring a set spanning more than a decade of original music, including recent singles “August Nights” and “Nowhere to Run,” songs from the Let It Ride EP, and music from throughout the band’s catalog.
About Deltaphonic
Formed in New Orleans, Deltaphonic lives at the intersection of Southern rock, blues, New Orleans funk and soul. Led by songwriter Andrew Weekes, the band has spent the past decade developing its own blend of sounds pulled from along the Mississippi, touring extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe along the way.
Their current chapter follows a string of recent singles and new recordings that bring New Orleans brass arrangements into the band’s blues-rock, retro soul and funk foundation.
About Daring Greatly
Daring Greatly is a Canadian-American five-piece blending ’70s-rooted songwriting, three-part blood harmony and road-tested rock n’ roll with a modern edge.
Originally formed in Calgary by brothers Patrick and Liam Croome alongside longtime friend Brayden Tario, the band eventually made Southern California home. Today, the three Canadians are joined by Jeff Starkey on electric guitar and Brendan Cutrer on bass.
More than 1,000 performances later, Daring Greatly has built its audience city by city across Canada and the United States while remaining completely independent. Along the way, the band has earned multiple San Diego Music Award wins and nominations and shared stages with Bon Jovi, The Doobie Brothers, Midland, Young the Giant, Lainey Wilson, Plain White T’s and more.
At the center are the songs and voices. Patrick and Liam’s natural blood harmony, joined by Brayden’s third voice, sits above drums and bass, piano and organ, acoustic and electric guitar, with live arrangements often opening into extended solos and spontaneous jams.
Recent releases “Nowhere to Run” and “August Nights” continue the band’s newest chapter following the 2025 Let It Ride EP.
