This is a true beginner series designed to give you a solid foundation over four weeks. We’re not expecting you to walk through the door already knowing the terminology, the dances, or what your feet are supposed to be doing — that’s what we’re here to teach you! 😂
Throughout the four weeks, we’ll work on:
👢 Basic line dance steps & terminology
🎶 Counting music, rhythm & timing
🧭 Walls, directions & transitions
🔄 Common turns and step combinations
💃 Beginner-friendly choreography
🧠 Tips for remembering dances
❤️ Lots of repetition, practice & review
🤠 Building your confidence for open dance nights
No previous dance experience is required and you do NOT need a partner!
Come alone, bring your spouse, grab a friend, or convince your whole group to learn together. Everyone starts somewhere!
This is a progressive four-week series, meaning we’ll continue building on what you learn each week. We strongly encourage you to attend all four classes so you get the full experience and feel comfortable progressing throughout the series.
🥤 Please bring something to drink!
👟 Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Most importantly, beginner class is a place where you’re SUPPOSED to make mistakes. Wrong wall? Wrong foot? Completely forgot what comes next? Welcome to the club. 😂 We’ll slow it down, answer questions and work through it together.
If your goal is to eventually walk into one of our open dances and feel confident getting onto the floor, this is where that journey starts. ❤️
