DANCES FROM THE AMERICAS: A FACULTY PIANO SHOWCASE
Four Pianists, One Journey Through the Americas
FCC piano faculty Dr. Hsin-Yi Chen, Dr. Alice Lee, Dr. Jinha Park, and Dr. John Wickelgren take the stage together for an afternoon of music from across the Americas.
The program travels from the tango halls of Buenos Aires to the American front porch. Enjoy the music of Guastavino's Romance del Plata and Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, Corigliano's spirited Gazebo Dances, Barber's nostalgic Souvenirs, and Lavignac's Galop-Marche, a lively finale that brings all four pianists together.
Bring a friend and hear what four accomplished musicians can do with a shared program.
