About this Event
Why this exists: We believe dads are often so busy taking care of everything and everyone else that they rarely make time to stop, reflect and think. Without that space, stress builds up, and the opportunity for clarity drowns in their schedule.
What to expect: A quiet space at the library without the kids, where dads will meet to unplug from the demands of everyday life, declutter their minds and think without interruption. That's it.
What to bring: A notepad, pen and snack to keep you focused.
What this isn't: A guided medidation -- no breathing exercises or stretching on mats here. We wants dads to simply slow down and think to themselves about whatever feels heavy or important in this season.
What to leave: Any guilt. Since this is a no-kids event, time away from them can feel uneasy. However, be reminded that a depleted dad is ineffective. This small activity will free up space in your mind to lead your family with more clarity and confidence.
Tell a dad and join us at our first Dad Unplugged.
