Join the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for a free tour of Mansfield (Nottingham Road) Cemetery, led by one of our experienced volunteer tour guides.

MEETING POINT is at the Old Cemetery Chapel in the grounds of the old part of the cemetery.
Mansfield Cemetery with buildings designed by JP Pritchett and sons, is a mid 19th century cemetery and is still open for burials today.
The cemetery contains 51 burials of the First World war and 45 of the 2nd World war.
The tour will be a circular route looking at war graves from the first world war and learning about the history of the cemetery Memorial cross.
The tour lasts approx. 60 mins and covers about 1000 metres on paths and grass with uneven ground. There is wheelchair access.
Parking is available on site and nearby. There are no on-site facilities and toilets. Please bring water if required.
Please dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear.
Only assistance dogs are allowed in the cemetery.
Please note there can be last minute cancellations. This can be due to various reasons including illness, site issues and weather. We will email you as soon as we can, but this could include the morning of the tour, so please check your emails prior to leaving for the tour.
